I had the opportunity to see a collection of the beautiful handbags of Kate Johnston. I was so delighted to see how creative she is.

Those lovely bags are unique in design, have a beautiful combination of colors, and the textile patterns really compliment the solid colors.

Of course I could not resist to have a least one for my evening outfit. I am looking forward to treating myself to more of them.

Handbags are really important to me. It's something that I think about a lot because it is something that I am going to carry around all day so it has to be versatile.

The thing I like most about Kate's handbags is that they are reversible. I show one side of the handbag during the day and then turn it inside out and use the other side for going out at night.

As someone who has worked with fabrics for many years, I know the amount of work it takes to select fabrics which complement each other and to highlight the design elements of each fabric.

Kate does an amazing job with her creations.

When I go out, I have a hard time deciding whether to use my whimsical purse, my evening purse, or my everyday purse.

One thing is for sure, I always get asked where I got my purse. And, the fact that no one else will ever have the same purses adds to the fun of owning them!
